ORTECH has considerable experience facilitating the interconnection of renewable energy projects to the electrical distribution system. We have worked with Hydro One as well as local distribution companies within Ontario assessing the feasibility of projects, obtaining Connection Impact Assessments, signing Connection Cost Recovery Agreements, and signing Power Purchase Agreements. As part of site planning, we will make recommendations for the routing of tap lines and locating substations in order to minimize cost and maximize energy delivered.
